Peter van der Zee to host pre-conference JS workshop

Fronteers Conference is proud to announce that Peter van der Zee - @kuvos - has agreed to host a full-day workshop on Wednesday, October 9, in addition to his session during the conference itself.

Peter's workshop is titled The Art of JavaScript. In it, he will explore the intricacies of the language with the participants, covering subjects ranging from the simple structure of the language all the way to the more complex nature of closures, context and callbacks. Specifically NOT covering the use jQuery or other libraries, the workshop instead provides a better understanding of what makes them tick by focusing on the underlying language itself.

Apart from talking and teaching, Peter organizes the yearly js1k competition; he's deeply passionate about writing JS tools and parsers as well as, in his words, nerdcore JS on the language level.

Workshop tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 28, at 12:00 CEST sharp.

Tickets are €350 excluding VAT or €275 for Fronteers members. Lunch and WiFi are provided.

Please note: workshop tickets do not include access to the conference itself. We do, however, have a limited number of combo tickets that are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
