Mediamatic Lab zoekt per direct (voorjaar 2009) een front-end developer die heel enthousiast wordt van Javascript, CSS, semantic HTML, Actionscript en PHP. Bij Mediamatic ga je je verder bekwamen in het toepassen van dit soort technieken. Ook minder ervaren front-end developers nodigen we uit om te solliciteren.
Mediamatic Lab
Mediamatic Lab bouwt veel sociale netwerken met een cultureel of maatschappelijk doel. Bekijk bijvoorbeeld Liberty City, WOMEN Inc, PICNIC, Platform 21, Bid Network, of het hele portfolio op de Mediamatic Lab website.
We werken veel samen met Stichting Mediamatic, onze zusterorganisatie. Die uitwisseling maakt het werken bij Mediamatic extra inspirerend en afwisselend.

Make simple interfaces for complex websites
Mediamatic Lab is urgently looking for a Front-end Developer who can read and write with Javascript, CSS and semantic HTML. Starting date Spring 2009.
Mediamatic Lab
Mediamatic Lab builds websites for clients. Typically we make social networks with a cultural aim. We build them with anyMeta, the Community Management System we have developed. It is a system to do great things quickly. See for example the website of PICNIC, Platform 21, the Bid Network or look at our Portfolio at the Mediamatic Lab website.
We work very closely with the Mediamatic Foundation, our sister organisation. Of course we have also made their website www.mediamatic.net. The exchange between our organisations makes working with Mediamatic even more inspiring and varied.
New Front-end developer
Building more websites requires another front ender! Our new collegue will work with Bas van Rijen, Tim Benniks, Blaise Kal (front end developers) and Ino Paap (projectleader and interaction designer).
We are looking for a front-end developer who can with work with, and extent his or her knowledge of, Javascript (AJAX), Flash (Actionscript), and PHP. Our new collegue has many of the following characteristics:
- Relevant studies and experience with Javascript (AJAX), Actionscript en PHP
- Experience with Smarty or another template language
- Experience with CMS systems and the willingness to learn anyMeta
- Creative person, who gets pleasure from developing new solutions
- Affinity with the cultural and social aims of our projects
We offer:
- Nice, inspiring international workspace in the centre of Amsterdam. You will be working in a small, non-hierarchical team.

- Preferably a 40 hours / week job
