Job position: front-end developer web / mobile at Us Media (Amsterdam)

Us Media is a digital production studio working with brands and agencies for web, mobile and social audiences. We have been doing this for over 10 years.

The job:

Us Media is looking for a front-end end developer with a broad field of expertise in developing websites accessible to a wide range of devices and browsers. You will be developing many different creative digital assets for a diverse palette of clients. You will do this in a multidisciplinary team of designers, producers, back-end developers and other digital fanatics. Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and share knowledge are part of the job.

This what we ask from you:

• You have the skills to produce a fluent, cross browser and cross platform front-end experience using CSS(3), HTML(5) and JavaScript.
• Experience or knowledge in developing websites for mobile devices is required.
• PHP and/or Actionscript knowledge is a big plus.
• Ideally, you enjoy being multi talented and getting the opportunity to show your work in all fields of digital production.
• Knowledge of social APIs such as Facebook and Twitter is a big plus.
• We are looking for an open minded and fun individual willing to learn from colleagues but also share knowledge while exploring new digital territory. In other words no ego-trippers but true team players. When we ask you to develop something outside your comfort zone you dig in, enjoy the challenge, appreciate the possibility to learn and simply get things done.
• You have a good sense of how much work is involved after pro actively asking and answering the right questions and know how to plan your work.
