Job position: Frontend Developer at Clay (Amsterdam)

We are looking for a real specialist. You will need a strong vision on what makes an application work. Everything you do must be dedicated to creating optimal usability. You will join a great team that is characterized by teamwork, simplicity, security and fun! You will be one of the first developers to create an application that is going to be used on a daily basis by millions of people all over the world.
Responsibilities:
- Close collaboration with our UX designer, translating design into optimal interface
- Understanding technical designs and managing timelines and specifications, coding and performance tuning standards.
- Working closely with other developers in the company to share information regarding application subject matters and know-how.
- Awareness of, or experience in Scrum concepts and/or DevOps methodologies
Technical know-how:
- Excellent HTML, XHTML, CSS programming skills
- Coding valid XHTML and CSS mark-up Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
- JavaScript programming skills
- Experience in integrating frontend code with server-side code to produce dynamic pages. Experience with PHP is a plus.
- Knowledge of emerging web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
- Some experience in AJAX techniques
- Knowledge of HTML Email best practice desirable
