Job position: Two senior front-end developers at De Voorhoede (Amsterdam)
De Voorhoede is an ambitious team of front-end specialists based in Amsterdam. At this moment we are looking for experienced front-enders. Preferably front-end architects who can start up new projects, guide other developers and communicate effectively.
About De Voorhoede
At the Voorhoede we love to be on the front line with the best front-end code, tools and processes. We work together in teams on innovative projects for clients such as Ziggo, Sanoma and Ebay. Our headquarters are in Amsterdam next to the river 'de Schinkel'. In Rotterdam we share a spacious and light office with interaction designers from UNITiD. Of course, we work with the latest hardware and tools.
Your role as front-end developer / architect
You will play a big role starting up new projects for our clients. You are experienced setting up front-end projects for large multidisciplinary teams. You can assist and coach other developers during the development process and you can communicate effectively with clients.
You recognize yourself in the following profile:
- A strong understanding of front-end web technology, standards and tools.
- Knowledge of frameworks and libraries and being able to choose solutions that the project needs
- Experience with tools such as CSS pre-processors, NodeJS, version management (Git), test and build scripts.
- Prefer to work Agile with Scrum or Kanban
- Specialized in front-end languages: Javascript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with other languages such as PHP, Java, C# and .Net is a plus
- You are able to work in teams, but you are also independent.
