Job description
As a Full-Stack Developer at Mangrove, you’re responsible for building effective applications for web and mobile. You advise your team and the client about technical implications and solutions. You’re the bridge between the concept and the code that runs it.
Full-What? With Full-Stack we mean that we're looking for developers who are familiar with the entire development stack, ranging from front-end to back-end. The reasoning behind this is that the line between those two have faded. We don't expect you to know it all up front, but to be able to adapt and choose the right tool for the job.
Developing online applications gets you excited, optimizing that little function to speed up the processing of the page with 10ms makes you happy and you’re not backing off when a less technical person needs help.

Job requirements
- You have thorough knowledge of back-end development and a good basic understanding of front-end development
- You can work in a multidisciplinary team to create that cutting edge web application;
- You enjoy a fast-paced agile environment;
- You are comfortable with integrating third-party API’s.
- You are familiar with testing processes to make sure your code is of high quality
- You can explain the technical part of the project towards stake-holders.
- You're familiar with complex business logic.
Programming languages
- Ruby on Rails
- Javascript
- REST API’s
A (basic) understanding of mobile development (Objective-C, Swift, Java) and/or frameworks such as AngularJS, Backbone and EmberJS might give you an advantage over other candidates.
