Job position: Software Engineer - Web at Escalada (Amsterdam)

YOUR CHALLENGE
- Improve the daily lives of hundreds of thousands of grocery shoppers
- Go where nobody has gone and get wide recognition for world class websites
- Design, create, own and maintain our web applications
- Push your limits in creating super clean, well structured, testable, performant, high quality code
- Develop application tests, including unit, integration, regression and performance tests
- Keep up with latest technologies and define our future technology stack

OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Highly analytical and curious mind with master in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong HMTL5, CSS3 and JavaScript development skills
- Active in open source community
- Experience with complex web applications and response websites
- Deep understanding of JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, jQuery, Backbone
- Live and breathe agile development, SVN, Git, Maven
- Open personality with superb communication skills (Dutch not required)
- Hands-on, nothing-is-impossible mind set, real team player, preferably EU work permit
