Job position: Frontend Developer at Stream (Amsterdam)
Job Description
Stream is building a new kind of data store. A data store to build, scale and personalize feeds. Our users access Stream via a blazing fast, highly available and simple to use API service. Stream is a well funded startup with offices in Amsterdam and Boulder.
We are currently looking for candidates who are smart and highly motivated individuals to join our development team in the center of Amsterdam. The candidate should be passionate about learning new technologies and should be excited about working in a fast-paced startup. Your job is to make Stream easier to use and to understand by building new features to our developers' dashboard, JS libraries and integration with popular JS frameworks. Must have:
- 2+ years of experience as frontend developer
- Expert level knowledge in CSS / SCSS
- Experience with modern Javascript (CommonJS, Promises, ...)
- In-depth knowledge of HTML
- Expert level knowledge in developing responsive/ adaptive layouts for multiple browsers and platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Focus on testing your own code and committing production ready code
Nice to have:
- ES6, ReactJS, JSX
- Experience with build tools (Gulp / Grunt or similar)
- NodeJS
- Webpack, Browserify, BabelJS
- Experience with Django / Flask
- Community contributions, blog posts, stackoverflow, github, etc.
