Fronteers 2015 workshops
On the Wednesday before the conference, we're offering two full-day workshops::
All modern websites and web applications require a build step in which we compile, compress and clean any code/assets in our project. Gulp is a task runner that allows us to quickly create and customize build systems for any type of project. Whether you are building a Ruby on Rails application, creating an App in Angular.js or a website on WordPress, learning Gulp is an investment you need to make. This one-day workshop will increase your web tooling workflow by taking a deep dive into Gulp.js and making you extremely comfortable with creating streaming build systems.
This workshop is dedicated to learning the native developer tools baked in to the browser to make our life a little more bearable.
We will be looking at the debugging features of Chrome DevTools and those concepts that apply to other browsers. We'll also look at remote mobile debugging using native tools and also look at the alternative tools where native support isn't available. The workshop will mostly be about the foundation of debugging techniques, which apply way beyond just a single browser's debugger tool, but will raise your expectation of all web debugging environments.
