Fronteers 2014 session videos online

In keeping with the old adage "Nothing beats the real thing (but video of it sure does come close)" all sessions at the 2014 Fronteers Conference have been recorded. Just in time for the holidays, all videos have now been updated, prepared and released for your perusal.

Just a couple of weeks to go

Summer flew by and conference season has started. So we’re doubling our efforts as well. There is still a lot to do, but the conference is shaping up nicely.

10 more tickets available

This year we as an organisation had 10 tickets to give away to students if they would submit a sound motivation of how the conference could help them in their education. Most unfortunately, we did not receive any motivations that we considered good enough to be eligible. While this may be a sad affair, it does have a silver lining. It means we have 10 more tickets to sell!

Fronteers 2014 combo tickets (conference + workshop)

Recently we started the sales for the regular Fronteers 2014 workshops tickets. And since we’ve kept some conference tickets aside, we’re happy to announce that sales of a limited number of combo tickets, for both conference and workshop, will start on Wednesday 30 July at 12:00 CEST!

Things to do in Amsterdam before and after Fronteers 2014

While everything is slowing down for summer, the cogs in the Fronteers conference machine keep on turning! Of course the "main event" is the conference but a large amount of pre- and post-conference activities have emerged from the trenches. We think it's really cool that all these events pop-up around the conference and we hope you like them too!

Announcing the Fronteers 2014 workshops

We’re delighted to announce the Fronteers 2014 workshops. On Wednesday 8 October, the day before the conference, Rachel Nabors and Kyle Simpson will each host a workshop. One about animations and the other about real-time communications with HTML5 APIs and Node.js.

I don't have a ticket, now what?

Ticket sales were crazy, we have never sold out so fast. This means a lot of people, be it "regulars" or newcomers, could not get a ticket. As much as we would like to just sell more tickets, we can't. Our venue is filled to the brim and we think making the conference bigger does not add to the coziness we aspire the conference to have. That being said, there are still some options to get tickets.

Tickets are going fast!

Wow! Our early bird tickets have never sold out so fast! It took the all of you just 6 minutes and 19 seconds to sell out all regular early bird tickets.

Only 48 more hours to go!

Yes, we're almost there. We're really excited about the tickets going on sale. Something we're even more excited about (practically can't keep it in!) is our line-up. It's going to be great and we're going to tell you all about it once the early-bird tickets have sold out.

Tickets for Fronteers 2014

Yes! We're almost ready! Tickets for Fronteers 2014 will be going on sale in just a matter of weeks. As you may well know by now, Fronteers 2014 will be held in Amsterdam on the 9th and 10th of October 2014. Just like the previous years the talks will be a high-quality mix of all things concerning front-end development. The line-up is filling up steadily and it's going to be a great one! We will reveal the first speakers after the early bird tickets have sold out.

It's official! Fronteers will be back in 2014

Not that we were ever in doubt that it would not happen but we have set the dates for Fronteers 2014!

The 2014 edition will again be held in the beautiful city of Amsterdam on Thursday 9th October and Friday 10th October. Workshops are scheduled to be on the day before so that would be on Wednesday the 8th.
